Dear Fellow Member of the Historic Brass Society,
We are pleased to announce the Call for Nominations, which begins the 2024 HBS Board Election cycle. Nominations are open until October 15th, followed by online voting which will be open from November 1-30.
Positions for 2025:
Board of Directors (1), Editorial Board (1), and Secretary
For these elected positions the following is required:
1. The candidate must be a current member, and have been a member for at least three of the past five years.
2. Submission of the candidate's CV to the nominating committee, to be shared with membership.
3. A brief statement to introduce oneself to the Membership and describe why the candidate is a good fit for the post. If desired, the candidate may also mention any concerns or improvements that the candidate may wish to address while in office.
HBS leadership roles are always needed, including positions on the following committees: Membership, Advertising and Marketing, Monk Awards, Events, and Technology. Positions on the Executive Board and Board of Directors rotate open each year, and are open to those with active membership for a minimum of three of the previous five years, while committee membership is open to all members.
